I have been playing the violin for 16 years. My mom started teaching my how to play the piano when I was six, and I started playing the violin when I was nine.
I have performed several solo recitals and with orchestras in Utah, New York, Germany, Austria, and China. I have also performed numerous times with quartets and small chamber ensembles, and I have participated in a variety of competitions, festivals, and conferences.
I received a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Weber State University in 2011 and a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology from the University of Utah in 2013. In 2011, I toured Shanghai and Beijing, China, with the Weber State Chamber Orchestra and I performed with the Classical Music Festival in Eisenstadt, Austria. While at WSU, I played with the Weber State Symphony Orchestra and the Weber State Chamber Orchestra, and was the section leader of the second violins and the assistant concertmaster. I taught group string lessons with the Weber State University String Project for four years and I have been teaching privately for over 7 years.
Currently, I play with Chamber Orchestra Ogden, assist the Lincoln Youth Chamber Orchestra, and teach private lessons.
